truth & beauty in portraits.

I create authentic and beautiful natural light portraits for

in Eastern North Carolina.

FAMILIES, DANCERS AND GRADUATING SENIORS

I am constantly searching for truth, beauty and goodness in each moment of life. In the sunlight from a kitchen window, in a quiet breeze rustling the leaves on the trees, in a sweet smile from a stranger.

I confess, I'm a people watcher and I love to find the good in others. When I am working with my seniors, I see it in you. The way the light hits your eyes and makes them sparkle. The way your nose crinkles when you feel silly. That far-off look you get when I ask you what your dreams are. With my families, I see it in the way a father cradles his newborn or a mama steals a glance at her ten-year-old daughter, whom she still pictures as a toddler.

I am a natural light photographer. I play with light and darkness. Shadows give shape to everything. Shadows cannot exist without light and we could not see anything without shadows. Colors are transformed depending on the temperature of the light. And when the sun is close to the edge of the earth, well, that makes light and color magical.

My background in art and storytelling inspires much of my work. I wield light and use elements of style to make one moment capture the essence of you. Whether you are a high school senior, family or creative entrepreneur, we will create something that speaks to you and of you.

my why

each person is a unique and beautiful creation. this truth breathes life into my photography.

Hey there! My name is Lindsay Corrigan and I'm a natural light photographer in Kinston, North Carolina. I am a lover. I am adamant about making peace and encouraging others. My life is about spreading truth and love.

Speaking of love, I have been married to my college sweetheart since 2005 and we have 3 amazing children. Seriously, they amaze me on the daily. I homeschool them so I get to see their lightbulb moments all the time and witness their creativity. It astounds me. We also have our adorable chocolate lab, who is a giant lapdog.

Our home is in Kinston, North Carolina and we LOVE our community. We were welcomed in with open-arms in 2008, after a hard season of life. I was born in Missouri and spent about half of my childhood in Ohio, where my parents grew up. I am a Midwest girl at heart, and I like to bring a little bit of that to our Southern small town.

I love Italian food and crab meat. Caramel is my favorite candy and I roast my own coffee. My favorite thing to do is travel and explore new towns- especially the historic sites, coffee shops and antique store.

I've been a photographer since the 2nd grade. Many mentors, teachers, professors and my parents had a hand in helping me hone my skills. In 2006, I started this business of mine. Since then, I have learned from amazing photographers, while actively continuing my education. I started specializing in senior portraits in 2012, and have since been featured and published nationally.

I'm not looking for fame or fortune,  but this business is a great investment of time and effort for me. I pour my passion into my work and art. From sending emails to crafting my images during shoots, down to designing story book albums, I consider each and every moment valuable.
